Pressure Canning Chicken...

Living From glory To Glory Blog

Fruits Of Our Labor
Here is a picture of some of the chicken we
Pressured canned.
It was so easy to do, it just takes a long time
to process.
The class we took at our extension office
was really profitable.
Also, to learn to not be intimidated by pressure canning:)
We are hoping to become well stocked with meats.
It is so convenient to just open a
Jar of chicken or beef and add to your,
Soups or stews.
I am so blessed to have learned the love
Of home keeping,
From my own Mother.
In all labor there is profit
Proverbs 14:23

  1. I will admit, I do have a fear of the pressure canner. I've only hot water bath canned those things that can be canned in that manner. Maybe I need to look into one of those classes, take the plunge!

  2. Pressure canning really isn't that scary once you get the hang of it. I was terrified of it, until I took the class with Roxy and once we practiced and practiced some more, we got the hang of it. But, each processing session is different each time. I love to see all the fruits of our labor in those canning jars. Beautiful all it's own!
