The Famine Of Hearing God's Word...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Everyone is looking for truth and meaning to their lives!

Well, I will tell you this that you will not find the true answers
in this old world!
Yet God will use this creation and all our situations to bring us to the truth.
I believe He is always tenderly calling...
I told my Hubby this morning I am pretty sure we don't live forever
 in these old bodies.

I found this and I thought I would share it with some of you!

John the Baptist was such a powerful light that God chose to use!

We must learn to feed ourselves as the church is suffering
from a famine of the Word...

We live in a day in which there is a famine in the land for the hearing of God's Word. This famine has produced a generation of starving Christians who greatly desire the presence of the truth of God's Word in their lives. Our purpose is to use the means of the Internet to propel the Word of God to every tribe, tongue, and people.

To help accomplish this goal, we have launched Expositor.FM, a 24-hour Christian internet radio station featuring the biblical preaching and teaching of many prominent pastors, teachers, and leaders proclaiming God's Word.

Expositor.FM is committed to daily programming that will aid your personal Christian growth while raising your affections in transcendent worship of our glorious God.

By listening, you will:
Experience in-depth training and instruction from trusted evangelical preachers and teachers, historical and contemporary.
Be encouraged by men who have established ministries founded on the Word of God.
Be instructed in verse-by-verse exposition for the renewal of your mind and transformation of your life.

  2. Sounds like a wonderful adventure to bring the Word to the Internet, Roxy! Our internet here in the backwoods is ancient and slow, and I'm sorry to say I won't be able to access your site, but I certainly pray that the Lord blesses both the site, and you for doing this! Have a blessed and marvelous day!

  3. God's Word is active and alive and I try to keep it in me. It sustains me, keeps me secure and gives me comfort and hope. Love my Bible. It's what I would grab first if I had a fire.

  4. Good post, Roxy!
I personally think just reading His word will bring you closer to Him. Ditch the simple devotions and listening to an Expository sermon is definitely the way to go. Thanks for posting a great site for reference.
    Enjoy your day!

  5. Seeing that picture of the Bible with words underlined in red sent me back in time to my grandmother's Bible. She did that too. You could flip through and see the passages that resonated with her at some particular time in her past.
