Cooking and Baking And Cleaning For Jesus...

Organic Strawberry Jam, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

~Strawberry Jam~

Little Things Can Change The Home...

Discouragement is a tool of the devil...

Keeping your kitchen, cozy, clean and smelling delicious;

Is a ministry to yourself and others!

Cooking Is A Blessing To All, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Keep the stove HOT!

I see many women who are not growing in their journey.

Our homes and relationships are not functioning very well!

There has been such emotional stress in these last few years.

Many have become weary and tired and a bit bored.

May I say this to you today as I have just experienced this myself.

We must take stock of where we are and why!

We must find our happy place that is filled with purpose and joy.

Self reflection can be very healthy as long as we don't look

at just the negative stuff.

We are always having to push and revamp our hearts and homes.

We can even get discouraged just being on all the social media.

Why?

Because we are all different and in different seasons of life.

You must take each day and do something inspiring or creative.

We must show kindness and affection!

I am getting up a little earlier to do my Bible Study and prayer.

And making a plan to do something within my home!

I plan to change out my tablecloth in the kitchen!

I have been in the process of making up a sourdough starter this last week.

It has been interesting watching videos and talking to others about it.

It smells wonderful, I plan on making some pancakes for breakfast today.

Also want to try my hand at some English muffins.

Make an easy meal for dinner tonight!

Make your meals with simple ingredients.

I hope to share a few things I am doing around the Estate.

This is the home God gave me!

May I glorify God in what I set my hand to!

I am tired of allowing the ungodly to dictate my life or joy I feel.

Everything we do has value when we do it with the right attitude and heart!

Lord Of All Pots And Pans

Lord of all pots and pans and things,Since I have no time to be

A Saint by doing lovely things

Or watch late with Thee,

Or dreaming in the dawnlight

Or storming heavens gates,

Make me a saint by getting meals

And washing up the plates.

Thou who didst love to give men food

In room or by the sea,

Accept this service that I do--

I do it unto Thee.

What The Different Colors Of Roses Mean...

There is just something so wonderful about the Rose flower...
The smell is intoxicating,
The symbolism is powerful!
A rose is worth a thousand words...

Enjoy a little symbolism that is dedicated to each different color of each rose.
Each color has some special meanings to them!

THE:

Red Rose...

The Red roses are of course the traditional symbol for love and romance.
They say I Love You!
The red rose speaks life!
This rose says beauty and perfection.
A bouquet of red roses is a perfect way to express your deep feelings!

Pink Roses...
A pretty Pink rose is a symbol of grace and elegance.
It is used to convey admiration, or appreciation.
Also the color says joyfulness.
The pink rose is considered the oldest garden rose.

Yellow Roses...
This bright and sunny color of yellow brings feelings of
warmth, happiness and cheerfulness.
this is a great rose to send with a get well wish!
True friendship!
Feelings of joy...

White Roses...
.
Now, the white rose represents innocence and purity.
New beginnings (marriages, births)
A white rose shows honor and reverence.
These are often an expression of  remembrance (death of a loved one)

Orange Roses...
Orange roses speak of desire and enthusiasm.
Energy, passion and excitement.
Fascination
Theses send a meaning message.
Emerging romance.

Lavender Roses...
Majesty, Enchantment,
Love at first sight!

I always love looking at the roses;
Every part of the rose has a special meaning.
The fragrance is heady and speaks of love and romance;
A rose scented oil or a perfume is beautiful!

I think each petal is thick and lush and is a treasure,
when they fall off the stem and dry in the wind!
They can be scattered or placed in a bowl.

Even the thorns can remind us of the sorrows and pain that come
in the life we live each day.

The beginning of a rose bud, speaks of new beginnings;
And beauty is on its way.
Never give up and look for the beauty in each day.

May I suggest you consider buying some roses;
They are worth the beauty and symbolism once in awhile...

Give a gift that speaks love and affection...
To your mate or child or friend

Don't Live In Monotone...

Can you hear the music...

Music is all around you,
 I can hear the fluttering of a moth's wing.
I hear the laughing of the boys in the yard playing.

I can hear the crickets chirping in the night.
I can hear the bird singing and chatting away.

The humming of the appliances in the quiet night!
The chimes on the clock say it is now ten o'clock

Another day has come and gone;
May I lay still in my bed and hear my heart beating!

Take no one for granted and expect this time as owed to you!
Time is a gift and you must listen to the music that is playing.

Each note carries a special tune;
Each one carries a high and a low.
No life should be lived in monotone...

My Eyes Have Seen The Glory Of The Lord...

My eyes have seen the glory of the Lord;
His truth is marching on...

Billows of clouds cover the mountain tops;
Darkness looms over the vast empty prairies
The tumbleweeds roll and roll...

His truth will not be stopped, it is in the very foundations of this soil.
His fingerprint is upon each grain of sand!

My eyes have seen His glory;
I have seen the glory in the eyes of a man who has fought on the battlefield,
 and now the war in his own mind.

I have seen the glory in a Mothers and Fathers eyes after the birth of a child.
And the glory in a tear that has fallen from the very same eyes of,
A parent who has lost a child to soon.

I have seen the glory in the eyes of a couple exchanging their marriage vows
 When these words were spoken;
I Do...

I feel His Glory when I kneel and pray!

His Glory is everywhere;
From the tallest mountain to the depths of the sea!

I can hear Him in the wind,
I can smell Him in the flowery fragrance blowing in my windows!

I saw His majesty lighting up the sky;
Behold, I see our flag waving valiantly...

His truth is marching on...
Glory, Glory Hallelujah

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall Who Is The Fairest Of Them All...

beautiful little mirror

When you look into the mirror;
 What you see and what others see are usually two different things.
Your reflection is really of the image of what your heart feels.
The real you!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

The heart speaks;
Why the loveliest ones are those with a kind and gentle heart!
Those that have eyes who do not look haughty or proud.
A lady whose mouth says please and thank you and says lets pray!

Lovely I say;

The mirror on the wall can lie!
But the mirror of the heart shines forth truth!

May your face always blush and be demure,
A look of brazen behavior as saying my eyes have seen it all.

A woman that is really fabulous is one whose eyes sparkle with joy!
A smile is always upon her lips, even as she sits and sips her tea.
Contentment is what makes her skin feel comfortable,
 Because it fits just right.

Her garments are clothing that covers her curves!
Flowing and Feminine!
Not a trace of manliness as to wonder if you have made a mistake.

Oh my heart leaps when I see you smile;
It shows your appreciation for what I have put in your hand.

Oh my daughter, you are the loveliest of them all...

Keeping Watch Dear Ones...

"Some things cannot be done in a day"
"Some glorious morn-but when? Ah, who shall say?
The steep mountain shall become a plain,
And the parched land be satisfied with rain.
The gate of brass all broken; iron bars,
Transfigured, form a ladder to the stars.
Rough places plain, and crooked ways all straight,
For he who with a patient heart can wait.
These things shall be on God's appointed day:
It may be tomorrow-yet it may."
I can see with my natural eyes, but my spiritual eyes see the way more clearly
 The days and months don't stop.
 His time is not ours, but he told us we would be able to recognize the times.
 He told us to occupy till he comes
. Keep watch, for we are seeing the greatest and glorious days yet to come.
 I cry out Come, Lord Jesus, Come!

And, behold, I am coming Quickly
Revelation 22:12

I just need to be reminded, this is not my home;
My days here are numbered,
I am just passing through...
I am running my race!
Beware of what direction you are running in!
Do not grow weary in doing good!
Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ...

Sweeter Than Chocolate...

One thing we can count on this month is Chocolate!
I love the smell of chocolate,
I love the texture of it as it melts in your mouth.

They say that the dark chocolate is loaded with antioxidants!
The new super health food!

No doubt there are some of you out there who do not even like chocolate;
Oh well, we still can be friends...

 There are four basic food groups
Milk Chocolate
Dark Chocolate
White Chocolate
And
Chocolate Truffles.

As much as I love Chocolate, I have come to know that
We long for something to fill our empty voids at times.
Sometimes it is any kind of food or a sweet treat!
We have a need given to us by our creator,
And all the chocolate in the world will not fill it...

What we need is intimate.
We must be heard.
Our hearts must be safe.
Our longings must be met.

There is only one place I feel complete and full!
Sitting at my Savior's feet!

After I sit with Him awhile, I feel my strength and zeal return.
Our days and nights can drain your strength;
But He is the sweetest and living water!

I want to sit at His feet drink the cup from His hand
Lay back against Him and breath!
I want to feel His heart beat!

Give me, Jesus!

Thank You Lord for all the sweet blessings and favor;
 His words are sweeter and richer, than anything this world has to offer!

Encouragement Is A Seed...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

 Encouragement Is A Seed...

Why I blossom when a word of encouragement is spoken to me!

It feels like a spring shower falling upon my dry and thirsty heart:
Encouragement carries life and inspiration.

When I see a place of barren ground, I want to break it up
 so I can dig a hole and place a seed of hope there in the dry soil!

But to walk away and leave it alone;
No, it is not my way,
I want to water and tend it's growth!
I start each day looking for the map of encouragement that
Belongs to me! As I believe it is there we just need to look for it!

I take what I have been given and give where He places me.
We need a root system to go deep so we can stay fresh in times of dry spells.

May, encouragement not stop here with me, but let it grow and flow
To others each and everyday!

Encouragement brings life...

Lonely Feelings Find Everyone...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Separation from anything or anybody, can cause an unrest within ourselves.
Self can become the only beating heart!

All will experience this feeling;

We call it LONELY
There are clubs for it.

Books have been written about it

Many songs have been sung about it

Yet, lonely has not escaped anyone!

We will always find ourselves in a lonely place:
Either in our hearts or minds...

Because we are separated by color by education
By statue Que
By Male or Female

But those are not the real reason’s!
But it is because we live in a sinful world.

Only our connection with Christ and Him crucified will
Give us the wholeness we desire.
We will always feel the lonely feeling
For until we come into His fullness
It will invade;
Our busy
Our noise
Our space
Our hearts

For we cannot silence this lonely!
~It must be filled~
Blessings,
Roxy

Simplicity

The Simplicity In Christ

The simplicity which is in Christ
is rarely found among us.
In its place are programs, methods,
organizations, and a world of nervous activities
which occupy time and attention
but can never satisfy the longing of the heart.
A.W. Tozer

May these days of cold weather
and early arriving of dark evenings be used
for getting rest and reading some good books.

Taking time for writing a letter to a loved one.
Taking extra time for evening prayers for others.
For these are not nervous activities.
They bring peace and calmness to
ones heart and mind.

May we learn to practice entering;
His Presence

In all things He desires our focus to be upon Him.

Be still and know I am God.
Psalm 46:10

Blessings, Roxy

Christmas Day

The Stable
Where Christmas Started
Oh come let us adore Him

May you find comfort in
this season.

Salvation that gives purpose of living.
Thanksgiving that beholds God

Hope that keeps us in Christ until heaven or until He returns

Truth that will prevail over every false thing
Faith that does the impossible for God
Light that defeats all darkness
Joy that is strength beyond conditions or feelings
Freedom to please & glorify God with your life
Peace that ministers rest of heart, trusting in God's Word
Forgiveness beyond human ability that heals relationships
Blessings that ministers generosity
Life eternal that conquered death, hate and hell
An everlasting Love that redeems to full GLORY

This amazing poem is from a friend!

Thank-you to all
who share the gospel!

May the warmth of His love fill you

Blessings, Roxy
