Mondays

Monday
I have always found it to be wise to try and keep my Mondays
free from any added appt. and such.
Then it allows me time to get my home in order,
washing caught up. Some meals planned out,
and maybe something sweet for the week.
But, I also realize Mondays can be the very beginning
of many a women's busy work week.
And my thought is this:
You all are amazing!
What I have seen and heard from many women
is this:
There hearts our at HOME...
Just know this, that just because you have to work or want to work,
your still a keeper of the home.
Your loving touches and concerns for
each person, is what make a
House a HOME.
May you be blessed and just know that your family
will know where your heart is!
Blessings, Roxy

  2. I love to think of Mondays in such a way; it is a wonderful idea to take Mondays as a day set aside to put the week in order.. I really like that.

Missing you Rox, and thinking of you and your precious family.
We are all doing well, and thankful to be cozy and safe (no hurricane here), and are praying for those who are being inundated in the hurricane. Its nice to pop in on your blog and get a tidbit.

    Love ya,
    Pam

  3. I'm with you, Roxy. Mondays are a good day for me to start the week a little slower, although that may be hard for some women. Hope you have a great week!

  4. I also have Monday as my sort the house out day and unless it is an unavoidable appointment then I don't make it on a Monday.

It's such a great feeling to start the week on top of all your chores rather than chasing your tail all week, isn't it?

  5. Monday has always been my "regrouping" day. I get up, take a deep breath, and then get to work getting everything caught back up, which is most always laundry. Other things get out of place in the course of a busy weekend, it's always so nice to have a fresh start again each Monday! Great words of encouragement to all women!

  6. Mondays are the same around here, a day to get things ready for the week ahead and lots of laundry it seems. I am so thankful to be the keeper of my home and at the end of each day I thank the Lord for all the blessings and all the work completed throughout my day.
