The Color of Life, Vibrate Greens...

Fresh Steamed Broccoli...
Living From Glory To Glory Blog

The Power of Greens

Green is a powerful color, it stimulates life and energy.
We were born to enjoy the colors!

Green is vibrate and helps us feel alive.

After a long season of browns and browns, we desire color and life.
So many are feeling tired and worn out, and yes, we are busy but maybe we just
Need the change of added colors to our senses.
We can bring about these changes through the foods we are eating.
We need to start eating more salads and green veggies.

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

I have been enjoying a Raw Power Food called:
 Perfect Food
RAW Organic Green Super Food
This is a supplement; but I believe it has helped me!

Bringing in even a new plant this time of year can help!
Adding a touch of bright colors such as buying a small bouquet of flowers,
Can cheer you quite a bit!

Surroundings can help us with how we are handling our emotions!
I try to do something every day that brings me pleasure and brings cheer
To my HOME and my HEART!

Putting even a pretty bowl filled with apples or oranges, on the table,
Can inspire you!.

I love to buy broccoli and to steam it till tender as shown above
Then I add a bit of Parmesan cheese on top and serve it.

Eat your Greens Dear Ones, because we need it so very much....

  2. You are like a breath of fresh air and a tiny bit like my mother (eat your vegetables).

The broccoli picture is very tempting.
And as for the Raw Power Food, never heard of it. It's sure worth trying! Especially, when I don't like broccoli.
I always leave here a little bit wiser.

  4. Yep, you got that grandma spirit about you, "Eat your Veggies". Ha, Ha too cute...

I couldn't agree more about brightening your day with some vibrant colors. Even if it is brown outside, you can add a splash of colors to just change the atmosphere. Even on your dinner plates!

I've been busy baking away today and I have made scones, brownies, pizza dough (for stromboli's)and here shortly I will be making up a great big, bright green salad to go with dinner.

I hope you are having fun with Ashley and the grandkids. Miss you!

    Hugs,
    Amy

  8. Hi Roxy, I hope you had a wonderful trip to Florida! I loved your post today about greens. Oh, how I wish I could eat them! I have to be on a blood thinning medication because I get recurrent blood clots. So I am not allowed to eat greens because they are loaded with a substance called vitamin K, which thickens the blood, and that works against my medication. I grave dark greens like spinach. I can have light greens like cabbage, and iceberg lettuce and squash in moderate amounts, but I have to check my blood levels every week. It is so beautiful that our heavenly Father gave us all the nutrients we need in natural food and even made it taste good and look beautiful! Have a lovely saturday afternoon! With Love, Delisa :)

  9. How I agree with this post. It is snowing even today.

    I have been craving salad!

And I realized this week that the flowers I had purchased to photograph for my blog really brought me joy this week! I even took a vase to my 13 year old daughter's room. She was so blessed by them!

  10. Such good advice! As a young girl I didn't like my veggies but have learned to love them through the years. A good salad just can't be beat and we had some broccoli this weekend that was so yummy....break apart the fresh broccoli, drizzle with EVOO and sea salt, roast on cookie sheet....YUMMY!
