Be Careful Who You Follow...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Be careful who you follow...

Remember when you were a child, playing the game follow the leader?
Well, it was fun until they did something stupid or was really dangerous!

What is wrong with people?
Conforming to other people can be dangerous!

Do You Always Follow The Crowd?

Do you conform to what is the newest trend?
Do you want what everyone else has?
Remember we are not a herd of cattle that can be herded in any direction.
Cattle are all in the same pasture all doing the same thing!

God made all of us unique and different!

I wonder why so many want a socialistic society?
We are Americans that can live in freedom of tyranny!
So why do so many want to be told what to believe and what is right.
"In their Opinion"

Don't be wise in your own eyes...
Look at the value of protecting the core values of a society!
Values and Truth still matter!

Keep doing what is right...
Keep believing the Gospel of Truth
Keep looking for the good in others!
Keep doing what glorifies God!
Keep walking in the narrow way!

Do not try to be popular or to blend into the herd!
But rather look to Christ and love what is pure.
Walk away from the mass of any wing- right or left!

Follow the Words of Christ!
If you have built your house on the Rock, it won't be shaken!

Blessings, Roxy

  1. That is so true, Roxy. People that follow along blindly scare me. It is hard enough to stay on a good road sometimes without following someone along a dangerous path. xoDiana

  2. QUERIDA HERMANA: LAMENTABLEMENTE, HOY HAY DEMASIADA GENTE QUE SE DEJA LLEVAR POR DISTINTOS LIDERES, RELIGIOSOS O POLITICOS, SON ARRASTRADOS Y LLEVADOS COMO OVEJAS AL MATADERO, USAN LINDAS PALABRAS PARA ENDULZAR LOS OIDOS DE LOS OYENTES, PERO DETRAS SE ESCONDE UN LOBO CON PIEL DE OVEJA. HAY QUE ESTAR ATENTO, ESTE MUNDO ESTA LLENO DE GENTE FALSA Y MENTIROSA. POR ESO, MI CASA Y YO, SERVIREMOS Y SEGUIREMOS A JEHOVA. BENDICIONES Y ABRAZO A LA DISTANCIA.

  4. Oh, Amen Roxy! You speak truth and wisdom. Thank you for sewing seeds of goodness into the hearts of your readers. We need the godly Titus 2 woman so badly! Many don’t think it’s worth the trouble but I’m grateful that you’ve been obedient to God in His calling on your life to help encourage others. I don’t comment much but I’m a long time reader who wants to extend my deepest heartfelt gratitude to you for being so faithful. I want to encourage saints like you to keep up the good work! May God richly bless you!
    Love,
    Rebeca

  5. Amen Roxy. So agree. May God have mercy on our nations and keep us frpm the follow the wrong way constantly pushed and promoted on the media
Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil. That's the real problem today.

Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.

  6. I remember being young, and my parents would ask if "someone" jumped off a bridge, would I jump off the bridge, too? that was always after I had followed that "someone" and did something really dumb. The older I got, the more I wanted to be a leader, and not a follower. When I asked Jesus into my heart...it was all about choices. Would I follow all the popular world views, or do what Jesus would do. WWJD became my focus in living. Thank you for this powerful message, Roxy. You tell it like it is!!! Love you, Debbie xo

  7. I also want to thank you for being steadfast in your encouragement of other Christian women. It is hard in the world today to be different. Being a Christian in society now seems to be almost criminal. My husband shared the point recently that hospitals were almost always begun by Christian groups. Samaritan's Purse takes care of people in disasters around the world, but when they set up hospitals in NYC during COVID...treating people for FREE in Jesus' name, they were attacked by the political process there. What has happened to people? I am confused by it all but I also know that Satan is leading these people who are attacking the work of the Lord.
Thanks again Roxy. I appreciate the wisdom I find when I visit you.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  10. SO much has got people looking to this world an "men" to show them what is right. We need to start looking to the Word of God and following the Lord Jesus instead. All of what we see in the media and politics is a divide and conquer the people. No one wins with that. Lets use our time to focus on what is best...God's Word and the rest will fall in line with how the Lord orders it.

  11. Amen! And, amen! So encouraging to the heart to read these words of truth! Not sure why, but your posts keep bringing me back to the simplicity of childhood songs: "Be careful little eyes what you see (Be careful little feet where you go)... for the Father up above is looking down in love, so be careful little eyes what you see." Now have that stuck in your head all day (-; LOL! Ah for the simplicity of simply reading and obeying God's Word. Thank you for diligently standing fast and writing from the truth of the God's Word!
