Stay On The Right Road...

Stay On The Right Road... Living From Glory To Glory Blog

 ~Stay On The Right Road~

We must learn to  be able to know when its time to take a break!

I felt very strongly that our country was in an uproar about everything.

In the last few months, so I chose to be quiet!

And I personally was fighting Covid and was very sick.

I don't l care to share all the details, but I can assure you it was dire.

Many times the Lord will allow you to stop in your tracks;

Many can continue to go on as if nothing like a world Pandemic has hit.

Much like a two time decimated Hurricane to hit a small underdeveloped country.

But really we can't take it all in and we are really not suppose to...

These are times that must be fulfilled,

Yet we must stay close to home and pray and overcome the onslaught.

I have never been so comforted and filled with peace as I stand!

I am very sensitive to things that cause unrest;

So I usually will draw close to the Lord and rest and pray.

One of the reasons we are to make our homes and families  a refuge,

Is because there are very few safe harbors in a world of unrest!

Some people are never bothered by much;

But I do believe we are seared and unaffected

 because we have been conditioned.

Many are called to cry out for justice!

But there is only one righteous judge

The wheat is growing along side the tares;

Only God can distinguish the difference between the two!

You can no longer befriend the apostates;

You can be kind and yet we are told to not even have a meal with them.

But wait we are suppose to love and except every wayward way of thinking?

I think no...

Narrow is the way

Broad is the road that leads to destruction.

I am not sure what the future holds;

But I do know who holds the future...

Take these days and hide yourself under His wings!

Comfort and Joy only come a heart fully given to Christ!

Blessings, Roxy

  1. Amen Roxy. I have left almost all social media behind rarely checking anything other than my blog friends, most of whom are Christian women. My husband and I have been studying and going to several different online churches since ours is not allowed to meet in person. It's so amazing how God can cause different pastors in different denominations, in different states, to preach virtually the same sermon. That happens quite often. God indeed is in control of these days we're in and we both believe that we should be ready any day. Of course we always should have been ready, but we're seeing prophecy being fulfilled right before our eyes if we would but open them.
    I hope you are fully recovered Roxy. Covid is not for the mild-hearted. Take time. My brother passed from it in April before they really knew much about treating it. I'm so glad that you are doing better my friend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  2. Oh dear Roxy, I was afraid you’d been hit! I’m praising and thanking God you came through! Thank you Lord!!!!
    How wise are all these wonderful words. I will read again and again. So few are the humble, sound voices like yours. I cherish your wisdom and insight. I’m a mom if 5 and just lost my mother 4 weeks ago. Women like you mean more to me than ever as I cling to your words for comfort and guidance. God knew what He was doing when He instructed us in His Word to have the wiser mothers teach the weaker ones. I’m so grateful for you, for your investment here on this blog. You are investing in teachable hearts who ache for God’s timeless truths to be told from a mothers gentle but ever strong voice. You are that beautiful voice Roxy. I am praying that you will be restored to full strength and that you will be encouraged today. You are a blessing. You have been sorely missed and I’m so very glad for this precious post. Thank you! God bless you!

  3. Oh my, I am so sorry to read that you have had to deal with COVID up close and personal! I hope and pray you are fully recovering! Thank you for your words of wisdom - the sentiments you have expressed resonate within my heart! We continue to see prophecy unfold before our eyes... men's hearts grow cold, they are led away by following various (wrong!) doctrines, believing evil to be good... BUT, we know Who sits on the Throne and the outcome is already spelled out in His Word! We just await His call Home. So thankful for your voice on the internet that reminds us of our responsibility to maintain our homes as a "safe haven" to nourish and encourage our families, as well as others in need of His peace!

  10. Much food for thought here, Roxy. I am sorry to read that you were very ill with covid and am most relieved that you have recovered. The idea of pulling back and drawing close to The Lord is one way to handle life's stresses. May you and yours have a blessed Christmas.
