The Balance Of Standing, And Keeping Our Homes A Haven...

Finding Beauty And Calmness, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Today...

I will resolve to look for the beauty in my own home!

Keeping my heart steady and not allowing the unrest into my heart!

When you keep yourself busy in doing the things that matter...

Sometimes we might think doing laundry or dusting is not important.

But it allows your mind to not feel cluttered.

We were made to work and keep things in order.

I believe we become stagnant at times;

But each new day and season can provide us with a new thing!

Our homes are the one place we can control a few things!

What is being watched or listened to, and even what's for dinner!

Think about what you might like to do,

that will impact the atmosphere,

In your home...

My last post was a bit on the heavy side, but we must work for

The balance of our standing for the truth, and keeping our homes a haven!

We have the tools and the gumption, we just need a push at times.

I think we all just want someone to validate us at times;

Because being at home can be so fulfilling, but also lonely.

Especially when the whole world is isolating themselves.

I don't believe in isolating myself, but being wise in so many things,

Can help us stay healthy and motivated!

These days call for thinking outside the box!

Don't be bullied, don't be passive!

Hold Down The Fort!!!

 Keepers Of The Home

Keepers Of The Truth

Keepers Of The Gospel Of Jesus Christ

Trust me, your HOME will be a beacon of light as the world grows darker...

  1. I am now an empty nester, and you wouldn't believe how many people have suggested that it's now time for me "to get a job." Funny thing is, I HAVE a job---I am a homemaker. I love being a keeper of the home, even in an empty nest.

  2. Your last post was heavy but sometimes we need to vent or share our feelings. I'm glad you did. For me it was a relief to know that there we others, all around the country or even world, who think the same way you and I do. You used the word "Validation".

I also, agree with you about making home a safe place, full of love and joy. It's a time for praying and singing while cleaning and cooking.

"speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,"
    Ephesians 5:19

  3. Oh Roxy I’m just thinking praying asking the lord for that same thing.
As Paul said in Galatians “am I become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” Tell the truth eternally and temporally…
I just wrote this prayer around the scripture.
..” we have become their enemy for truth telling.. “set a watch before my mouth, keep the door of my lips, O Lord”, and my thoughts, and time spent in matters of the world, O Father God, please keep my focus wholly Christ centred, but not devoid of what is going on around me… living the right balance.”
Then as you say in the same thought yet a world apart from US to Aust, same thoughts .. the right balance. I do enjoy reading your insights, Roxy … esp on cleaning being good for us. 😂😆😃❤️ Simple but true!

Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, prayer hugs Shaz in Oz.x

  6. So true. My favorite place is at home, wherever it may be. In a house, in a camper. As long as I'm with my Hubby and he's happy and content, so am I. I pray more and more women come to the same conclusion. The world has not done the home any favors.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
