Learning To Hold Your Post...

Flow Blue Antique Bowl, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Pretty In Blue

A pretty simple blue bowl can make me happy!

I have learned to stop allowing the weirdness of this culture and world;

To make my life miserable!

We must live with purpose and impact!

There are more plots to destroy your peace than ever before!

But just ignore most the chatter and get busy living!

Is there ever a day that goes by that you were not able to do something?

It truly will be the little things that bring comfort!

Do not give up the fight to be at peace and keeping your home a refuge!

My advice to you today will be to be mindful of being frugal!

Do those little remakes and upcycle of your goods!

Spray painting my outdoor decor and painting little wooden items!

Go through your drawers and cupboards and rearrange some of your decor.

~Do not allow yourself to become weary in doing good~

Refuse to be a part of the woke weirdness,

Be strong and courageous in your homemaking and family.

Keep your haven clean and tidy.

Turn off what brings disturbance to your mind or heart!

You can learn to be content and rich with really very simple living!

Many women are still holding their post!

Just don't survive; But overcome...

Keep your heart tender and strengthen your hands!

Always dear Ones, Kindred spirits...

Hugs, Living From Glory To Glory

  1. Oh so true. My dear MIL at 85 watches the news all. day. long. She only shuts it off when she's sleeping. Her blood pressure is sky high. She worries all of the time. We've threatened to take the TV away. She worries about everything.
Us? I haven't watched the news in weeks except when I'm her home. We watch Gaither music videos, camping and travel videos and read a lot.
We keep telling her there is absolutely nothing she can do about any of it except pray and she's letting it steal her peace.
Thank you for a thought provoking blog post again today Roxy.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  2. So happy to see your blog post today! Always an encouragement to me - and I truly needed it today! I hope that you are well! With all the inside-out, upside-down, just plain crazy thinking that prevails in the world today, it can become overwhelming, scratching and clawing at our peace. Oh, to be found faithful, resting in His peace, leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus, holding firm to the rock of His salvation....when He returns. That is my heart's desire, and being busy keeping the home fires burning and welcoming can help me keep on that path.... thank you, again, for your encouraging reminders that we are not alone in those endeavors - that there are others who see through the craziness and desire a simple, Godly life! Blessings to you, Roxy!

  3. Such true words Roxy. We can't change the world, but we can allow the peace of the Lord to reign in our homes. Life is made special by the little things we do for others and ourselves. A cup of tea with a friend, prayer with friends, a special dinner for family with candlelight, and so much more. Love your ideas shared too! I've been doing some repurposing and rearranging myself. May the Lord bless and keep you!

  4. When we close off the world it's not that we don't care about what is happening in the world. The fact is we care more about what the Lord would have us do during any period of time. Caring for our home and family in the best way we can. No need to dwell on the stress of the media as it just destroys the peace in our homes. Our homes need to be a haven from it all...seeking the peace of the Lord Jesus. Thanks Roxy!
