How To Persevere In Your Every Day Life...

Persevering In Your Every Day Lives, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Persevering In Your Every Day

Some days and seasons will just be harder than others!

But we can overcome even if it's just in our own hearts and mind.

Everything seems like a battle anymore.

But we must have a fight to be a victor;

But as we fight we must always remember who the enemy is!

And as sad as it is, we can see God will allow others to be used,

To cause stress and frustration in our lives.

So this is why we must be very wise and diligent who we allow into our lives.

As these people will affect our homes and children with their stuff.

As the holidays are fast approaching, we can make better choices,

Of who we spend it with and what we do!!

I always have to remind myself to take every thought captive...

Because it will be your mind that will lead you into trouble.

Ask the Lord for wisdom and endurance.

Pray for Peace of Jeruselum

Pray to be able to make better choices

Pray for God to remove all hindrances as you run your race

Pray to be a good steward of your time and money

Learn to walk in peace as much as it depends upon you!

I love this scripture; But some will not allow peace.

~ If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace
with everyone. ~

Romans 12:18

Practice giving thanks with a grateful heart!!

Blessings

  1. Such good Biblical advice. Our Women's Bible Study is doing a study of "The pursuit of Holiness" If we are to pursue holiness it's an everyday battle to "put to death those things of the flesh" that draw us away from the pursuit. God Word from Genises to Revelation is the challenge to pursue holiness and live a pure and godly life. I't my greatest desire.
Thanks for always sharing the Truth, in such a lovely manner.

  2. Hello Roxy! Great advice, as always. I've been doing much better at keeping to ourselves and away from those who ridicule our faith. Thanksgiving will be a different story, but they all know our views and seem to at least "tolerate" us and not make snide remarks. Maybe it's because I cook dinner for them all?
I have fallen asleep while praying for over a week now. Either my prayers are getting longer, (they are,) or God is calming my heart and putting me to sleep so I get enough rest. At first I felt guilty for falling asleep, but then Dennis said, "Remember when our children were little and we while we were discussing their day, they would fall asleep? They trusted us enough to know they could completely relax with us and we would take care of them, and God does the same with us." A good perspective. :-)
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  5. Once again, wise counsel! I particularly appreciate being reminded to "take every thought captive"! And Romans 12:18..."AS FAR AS IT DEPENDS ON YOU"...we must do what we can to live at peace with others. Others are responsible for their responses to that. We can trust the Lord to work through our obedience to Him. Always value your wise and timely exhortations, Roxy - you are just telling it like it is, from God's Word. 😊

who still remembers your kindness to me as you spoke to me before my mastectomy surgery years ago. Praise God! I'm still here! I will live and not die and declare the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 118
