Sharing Hearts...

Sharing, Living from glory to glory blog...
Sharing Hearts
This world would be a very lonely place if we did not share.
There is a race in this world that is going on for many.
A race to get to the top,
A race to get to the finishing line.
A race to be the first.
A race to be the best or number one UNO.
It is good to want to achieve good or great things!
But we must remember those around us who need help.
Some of us do not find everything easy, but rather difficult.
But rather we must be taught and encouraged.

Maybe you are in a place that you are having a hard time!
Look, if you do not belong to every club or Bible study,
or every exchange or party. You become different!
Share what you can!
Do the portion you can and do not allow the enemy to rob you of your peace!

May we have the motto;
Leave no one behind, (who is trying)
I cannot push you, and I do not want to pull you.

But I can share!
May we share the love of Christ!
We can share our toys.
We can share our joys.
We can share what we are learning as women, wives and mothers.
We are called to train, and to encourage one another.

Blessings,

Learning To Take Responsibility No Matter How Beautiful Or Pretty...

Learn to take responsibility, Living from glory to glory blog...

Learning to take Responsibility!

We all need to be doing this!
We need to be teaching ourselves this very thing!
Our children and grandchildren must have this character trait!
Sometimes just because someone is cute or pretty;
We do them a harm when we do not hold them responsible!

If we do not have this character trait we will be in trouble!

~Well, it's not my fault~

Look BEAUTY is a wonderful thing...
But it STINKS when it's the focus of a issue and not the heart of the matter.

Look, if you were there, you play a part!
It takes two!

Well, in our society we have many that can start a fight with themselves!
Many will not even take responsibility for themselves!
We still want to blame someone else rather than to take responsibility.

It all started in a garden---
Then the man said,
"The woman whom YOU gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
Genesis 3:12

But I think my favorite blame scripture is this one,

"They gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf"
Exodus 32:24

Seriously...

Look learn to see when you are wrong and admit to yourself and to others!
Especially those that have been hurt in the crossfire!

Do you really think you're fooling yourself or GOD?

But when we take responsibility for our wrong attitudes or behavior;
We can call it what it is SIN!

We can ask God to forgive us and start over;
Fresh and clean!

What I Really Think, You Little Rascal...

The Little Rascals, Living from glory to glory blog

What I really Think...

Enjoying this season of my life as I have enjoyed all the others!

Sometimes we can miss the simple joys of our everyday lives;
By always thinking that there is something better!
Or living in the past because we thought it was so great!

Come up with some new plans and ideas to enjoy this NOW season.

Be funny and make someone smile!

Be a better wife!!

Learn a new skill!

A good and happy life is something we can create...
The power to love and not give up is what a good woman should do!

Are you ready to give up?

Well, wait three days...

We can all recall a time when you might have been down or weary;
But each time we have overcome those feelings!

I am a lady that desires to enjoy my days!
Cooking and cleaning become a joy!
Loving my husband is a God honoring mission!

We cannot become a prisoner in our own homes just because,
The world has gone crazy!

Stretch your imagination...
Clean out the old of what is no longer useful!
Keep what brings you joy!

Purpose in your heart to bring God honor in your days!
Enjoy the lonely days
Enjoy the quiet
Enjoy this season!

We must teach the younger women how to
Love their children and their husbands;

But we must also teach them how to live a healthy life once
They have done this great calling!

What I really think!

The Best Is Yet To Come...

Enjoying Having Chickens On The Homestead & Mc Murray Hatchery Company...

Mc Murray Hatchery, Living from glory to glory blog

Having Chickens

I truly think chicken's are the very prettiest when it is this time of year!
They are very fat and they have all their feathers!

I have had the pleasure of having chickens for years!
I love getting fresh eggs!!
During the long winter months they stop laying completely for a few months.
But as soon as it starts to warm up they start blessing us again!

I do not let them free range very often because they really are
very destructive!

They also will start laying their eggs in spots that you may never find them!

Also, we have foxes and coyotes that would love a chicken dinner!
Plus we have three dogs and I feel that it is such a great temptation for them!

I usually get a new batch of baby chicks about every two years;
Then I can keep a newer, younger hen in the flock.
But I have some very old hens that are just plain fat and I am sure they don't
Lay eggs anymore. But they are like the old girls in the flock.
Just because they are old I still love having them!
They are just fat and fluffy!
I have had a few that are really mean!
Those ones don't stay around very long
(Can't trust them with the grandkids)

One thing that I have enjoyed about having chickens other than
getting fresh eggs, is that they will eat all the left over
scrapes of food and anything past the safe date to serve
the family. Also, any peelings and sour milk they love!
Then I don't feel bad that something has gone bad;
I just feed it to the chickens!!

We have two roosters and it gives just enough competition for the top rooster!

My plan is to order some new chicks real soon!
I order from a company called

MCMURRAY HATCHERY DOT COM

I have a small special box I keep in the barn with a heating lamp!
I keep them there till they can't fit through the holes in the chicken wire.
And they hop around like a jackrabbit!

Homesteading And Chickens, living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Do you have some funny memories of chickens?
Actually, many people are afraid of chickens!

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden, How To Disagree And NOT Fight...

How To Disagree And Not Fight, Living from glory to glory blog...

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

Marriage and a bed of Roses...

A Good marriage takes work!

Anything worthwhile takes work!
If you want a bed of roses to lie down in, then you must start
with some very strong manure!
Be careful of how fresh it is because it will burn your seedlings or
kill a new plant!

I realize it is not really time to plant roses, but it is time to
think about what state your marriage soil is in!

I sometimes get irritated when we think love is something that just happens.
It may just be infatuation or just plain lust of the flesh.

Real love and marriage has many trials and errors.
Do you know why God tells us to have an older woman
in our lives that has the experience of being a Godly wife?

BECAUSE we have to LEARN how to Love our husbands!

We are all going to have fights once in awhile,
And when you first get married it is a bit rough for many couples.

Fighting Fair

Conflicts will happen in every marriage----

Women are notorious for wanting to have the last word.

[Love] is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no records of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 13:5

How To Disagree and NOT Fight

Answer this Question...
Can you get angry without getting destructive?
(Your words, your attitude, your actions)?

Stick to the problem or point
Don't drag the past records of wrongs into your disagreement.

Allow your spouse to respond and make your statement
then they can respond back.
(No hands on your hips)

Don't allow your feelings to rule,
But state the facts!
(Men need facts)

Take the first move to ask for forgiveness and make an apology!

Love is not rude...

Lord, give me wisdom to be a Godly wife; and to do the hard work;
So one day we will have the soil prepared for a bed of Roses.

Remember making up is so much better!

Do You have some of your own words of wisdom for dealing
with conflict in your marriage, please share!!

Even in our marriages, we must be;

A Little Cake And Heart Health...

A Bite Size Cake, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

A Little goes a long way...

I have noticed that we usually desire something small and sweet to eat after
A meal or dinner or a luncheon...

I have been making some smaller loaf size of quick breads and freezing them.
And I enjoy a smaller cake, so I believe you can take just about
Any kind of cake batter flavor, and put them a small cupcake size pan.
They cook faster and they are easier to serve.

So many after the first of the year go out to an all out war;
Against sweets and you name it!

But we all know we are going to crave something sweet...
(If you are gluten free, just use a mix that is gluten free,
Or just make up your own homemade batter.
You can buy Gluten free flour at any grocery store now days.

I have never felt good about depriving myself of sweets!

There is always going to be a new fad or a new food;
I get that, but eating all foods that are tolerated and eating variety;
In smaller portions is always a wiser way to eat!

When my blood pressure got high;
(I was told juice, celery and drink it every day)
My blood pressure problem was genetics, so all the celery in the world,
was not the answer for me!
But I do hope we can enjoy a bit of cake without harming our health!

As we all know we have to watch our sugar intake;
I kid you not everyone you talk to is either pre-diabetic or a full blown diabetic.
So we all need to cut back on our sugars and starches
and all forms of wheat and carbohydrates.

Enjoy the good things, just don't indulge and gorge oneself.

Everything in moderation...

Heart Health

May I take just another moment to remind you all that heart health is
So important to our well being...

I know you all know about saturated fats and bad oils.
Do you know that being unforgiving in your heart
will cause you?

If you think anyone of us is exempt from forgiving others;
You are being deceived...

It is not always easy, but we can do it with God's help!
True Love
Not remembering their wrongs!

Blessings, Roxy

What is happening on the home front
My computer crashed
Got a new one and it is tough learning the ways of the newer ones!
Internet was down
My car was no longer reliable!
Got a new one, well new to me...
I have learned to not worry and just trust the Lord
He makes all things new in His timing!

~May your HEARTS be filled with Love & Joy~

Violets For Today As Tomorrow Is Always A Day Away...

Violet Teacup, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Tomorrow, Tomorrow is always a day away...

I always have this idea in my head that there is a good ending to every story!

But I have seen some sad endings...

But we all need to all be a little Pollyanna inside.

I am seriously thinking that we are in all overload.
Children and adults...
Some claim to think it is all about learning and obtaining knowledge.
Some think doing and going and being involved is what is needed!

We are in such a diverse society now a days,
But the fact of the matter is we need to take care of what is ours.
Taking on everyone else's problems and struggles can be very taxing.

But we all need hope!!

I have been so blessed to be at home and to choose and pick what I want
to be involved in. And being available to help with family.

But I can see that we need to remind ourselves that we do not have to
be involved in everything!

Today is all that I have;
For we are reminded in the Word not to boast and to say
"We are going to do this or that tomorrow"

May, I remind you that we must focus on God's goodness!

My Mother use to tell me don't bite off more than you can chew.
It sounds funny, but it does hold a lot of wisdom.

I do hope you are all doing well!
Thinking that I may need to re-access my daily list of things of importance.

I think as you get older the days run out as about as fast as my steam does!

I have heard and seen many of you ladies deep cleaning;
And de-junking
Decluttering
Spring cleaning...

I have had no move to do so;
Maybe you could let me know what you're doing!
I could use a bit of encouragement...
