Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...

The Heavens Declare The Glory Of The Lord, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

I have been really thinking a lot about how we as Christians are silenced!
We do not speak up because we do not want to offend others;

But truly if we are called to be the light of the world;
It is not something we have to do, or make a conscious effort to do so.

It is like the stars, they do not have to be told to twinkle or shine;
They do it because it is what they do!
Twinkle...

It is not my desire to try to go around offending others that believe a lie!
But, I am tired of walking around being silenced in the little things.

It should be natural to say:
 Praise The Lord
Thank You Jesus
Jesus is Lord
Saying grace
Bowing My head
Quoting Scripture In Day to Day Conversation

This Little Light Of Mine, I am going to let it shine!

A very tiny light can be seen in the darkest night!

I have lived long enough to see so many supposed Christians;
Turn their backs and Hearts against and away from the truth!
The Great Apostasy!
They never truly believed...
Sad. but true!

They are always learning, but never knowing the truth...
Deception is something that looks right or important!
It's once again the syndrome of look at me!
I am religious
I know the deep things...
I studied this for a long time!

I will no longer be silenced!
I will be like the stars that shine every night without being told to!

  2. I am pretty much an open book, Roxy. What you see is what you get with me and I say what I feel comfortable saying in different situations.
    I hope you have a blessed, wonderful Sunday- xo Diana

  4. With so many in the world acting so violently, we have to be a Light! Bully isn't what God wants from us.
    Peter 2:13-20, says we are to honor authority, honor all people, but first we must honor our Lord. Following the Lord, we can be a light and by speaking up in truth, we can lead by example.
    Great post!
    Roxy, you are a Light!

  5. Yes, I too experience this.
    I think any true Christian will live with these experiences today as the world can't tolerate truth. The saddest part is when the church falls in line with wrong and we try to influence those who are following error to turn back to truth.

    I have come to a place where I no longer try with those who are determined to go apart from the Truth. I have learned that prayer is all that can help at that point.

    Keep speaking truth in love dear friend.

    The Word doesn't go forth void

    Grace and peace

  6. This is such a beautiful comparison of our light being like the stars! So precious! When the children of the Lord get quiet, something is lost in the brightness of their light. You are right, even just in Praising Him, and words of thanksgiving and blessings, those words are like the lights this world needs.

  8. Wonderful post. We were born for such a time as this. Only light dispels darkness. Truth sets the captives free. Each Friday night, as I light the Shabbat candles, I say a prayer, "Blessed are you, Oh Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us in Your Word, and given us Yeshua our Messiah, and commanded us to be light to the world." I love that reminder.

  9. I just want you to know how much I appreciate this post! It was exactly what I needed to hear, especially in this season of my life. I try so hard to be a “people pleaser”. This opened my eyes and has been a wonderful reminder that I need to be a “God pleaser” instead. We’re each here for a purpose and that purpose is to serve our Savior He alone is our light for our path and He will direct His steps, if only we will let Him. Psalm 119: 105. God led me here to hear this message. Thank you and God Bless!
