Lovely Memories...

Living from glory to glory Blog

Lake Michigan in all her glory;
No Salt
No Sharks
No Worries

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Truly the handy work of a mighty God!
Dew in the morning

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Fresh fruit to fill our bowls to overflowing!
Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Glory to Glory Blog

May the wind blow;
And the waves of His Love cover you!

May you live and move and have your
being in Him!
Every step I take I take in YOU...

A game of shuffleboard anyone?
Fun and games in the sun...

I am saying goodbye to another summer season...
I have had so may changes in my own life,
And I believe this is a season for many changes in your
own lives!

We must always be flexible so we will not break when a new
and wonderful change does come about.
When we stop to realize God is the potter and
we are the clay...
Girls were going to be so beautiful!

We had a lovely vacation this summer!
We had our 8th grandchild born!
We left our old church, after 12 years with them!
We have joined a new very small independent Baptist Church!
We saw so many rainbows this year!
We had a few hard trials.
I have noticed I am getting older and a bit slower.
I prefer my home and a few close friends over crowds.
My Hubby is my dearest friend...
My two closest friends are moving away soon.

My heart is heavy and glad all at the same time!
His mercies are new every morning...

Tell me about a new change in your own lives...
Where may this next season be taking you?

I pray each and every one of you who visit this humble blog;
Be blessed and filled to overflowing with His Word!

  1. Such a beautiful post! Praise God for all his bountiful blessings! My family is going to be moving out to the country this coming month and with it will bring many adjustments. All four of my children are in homeschool this year and my oldest is learning to DRIVE! I'm turning 38 in a few days and I'm starting to look back on life and see how amazing the Lord has been leading me!

  3. We farewell winter today and welcome spring tomorrow . This year has been a struggle with my son still suffering depression and my sister-in-law remains in a critical condition, still in ICU after 45 days. But I still count my blessings, so many ways the Lord has cared for my family, I thank Him daily for all that He does.

  4. It has been a long hard year but God has been faithful to be with us, my husband had throat cancer, waiting now to see if it is all gone. There is always a lesson to learn in our trails, praise God for His faithfulness and blessings!

  7. I look forward to seeing those pictures of precious new grand baby, and hearing all about the others and how Ashley and Eric are doing. Each time of change brings joy and sorrow doesn't it? Love your pictures, and share many of the sweet thoughts and memories that you have. I'm so glad to have that bond with you Rox.

  8. Changes... They will come whether we are ready for them or not, but praises go to our Great God, as he goes through them with us, and already knows what those changes will be long before we ever get there.
I loved what you said "My heart is heavy and glad all at the same time"
God's mercies ARE new every day, aren't they?
We too have had many changes going on in our lives, and God has been gracious in it all.
May your heart be blessed and encouraged as you go through your many changes.
Have a blessed Lord's day, Roxy.
    Joy! Debbie

  14. Hello Roxy, lovely post from a warm heart. Congrats on your 8th grandchild! Every rainbow screams "I promised, I'm doing it--I will not destroy the earth with floods again". Such a wonderful Father, His banner over us is love.
I hope the forthcoming season hold more beauty in it for you and yours.
    God bless you.

  15. Congratulations on the new grandbaby. What a blessing. And Lake Michigan has all those things, and more, except for one thing -- warm water!! Brrr, those Great Lakes were colder than usual this year!

I pray that you will find some new friends at your new church. I know it's sad to have to part from dear friends who are moving.

    Blessings to you Roxy.
