Why We Must Teach The Younger Women...

Cozy Kitchen Corner. Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Who Wants To Be Trained?...

We definitely have seen a decline in younger Women being willing to learn;
The art of Homemaking!

I believe we are seeing the fruits of training not being given or received.

The world marches to its own set of rules, And the need for income or just more!

I feel that the older women do not have the willing participants;
Because many empty nesters no longer have those that are at home or are willing to learn!

Maybe, we just keep sharing resources when we can and they just learn on their own.
And in my opinion that is fine also!

But, we must continue to teach through our own life's actions.....
It's in our willingness to encourage with words and to cheer them on!!

May we hope that we will have a movement that draws them HOME

I think most women still desire to take homemaking as a privilege;
And embrace all the joys of HOME

 I have learned and I'm still learning;
To be a wise homemaker in times of plenty and want.
In times of world upheaval and drought,
Trials and tribulations
Rain or shine, storm clouds and storms!
Sunshine and Warmth...

Some time we have tough seasons and other times smooth sailing.

Learning to live on a dime, yet being extravagant in some things in a time of plenty!
Keeping our homes, furnished and filled with resources is just wise!

Trusting the Lord in lean times!
Sharing when we have more!

If you're a young woman, keep your heart open to learn a skill or two!
If you're an older woman be willing and watchful to share a bit of wisdom!

But also a reminder to myself and to you dear readers;
We can all learn a thing or two from each other

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands,
 To love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home,
 Good, obedient to their own husbands,
 That the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:4, 5

We are doing well, yet have been feeling a big hit in the aerospace market!
Remember, many of us are still reeling financially from this world pandemic

As my husband said slow down and put on the brakes!

"This all happened after we bought all new windows and flooring"
Great...
Now, I just stay home and enjoy my home more than ever for the duration.

Always, Living from Glory To Glory

Don't Rain On Someone's Parade...

 Sometimes we can finally find something that works for us!
What I mean is that life is not really very easy;
~If you had not noticed~

Some days and seasons are much easier,
But when you are struggling with something;
That has caused distress, it can be a challenge!

It might be something just small and annoying.
But, it can cause you distress!

Many times I have had to find an answer to theses dilemmas!

And when I finally found an antidote that worked for me;
There would always be something said to make me feel
Wrong, sad, unworthy...

For instance;
An Example
When I became lactose intolerant, I could not find a
Coffee creamer I really liked, because I like it to be creamy!
I tried every natural brand and did not enjoy the taste or texture.

So when I finally tried Coffeemate, its lactose free;
I was so happy!
But we all know its not a super healthy product;
But, it sure tastes good LOL
So as you can imagine others had to make me aware of the
Down side of this product!I felt like everyone turned into the coffee police.

Sometimes the answer to a problem is going to carry a downside!

But sometimes you just got to go with what works!

So, Hopefully I have learned to be thoughtful;
And not always give my opinion on what someone else is doing!

So, I guess my one liner is this today

Don't rain on someones parade;
Let them be happy and enjoy the answer to their struggle!

Be the one to encourage today!!
Pray for others to succeed and to excel!
Be not jealous of others!
Use the means you have to help and honor others!

Try not to find fault, but to help them to strive to do better!

Has someone ever rained on your parade?
How did you overcome?

Hugs, Roxy

Covid19, Riots, Humidity, My Thoughts...

Delphinium Flower, Garden, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Covid19,  Riots, Humidity,

~My Thoughts~

Many have completely forgotten about Covid19,
But many will remember it's devastation forever!
Loss of life (But it has been just old people)
So what the heck; so that makes a difference?
The older generation was the backbone of our society for
As long as many of you have been alive or were a toddler!
This nasty virus could kill anyone!

Covid 19, taught me to stay home and enjoy it
Covid 19 allowed me to get some new clothes after gaining weight!
Covid19 showed me that everyone spits when opening one's mouth!
ICK...

Covid19 reminded me to wash my hands all the time!

Covid19 has caused so much destruction in our financial world!
Everything will be different or a struggle!

After being home for two months;
 I now am using my good camera again; The photo on this blog,
Was a photo shoot in a friend's garden.

The aerospace industry is really hurting;
Who wants to sit in a metal space with a hundred;
Other people breathing the same air?
To be honest, If the price was cheap I just might!
Look flying is wonderful; they just need to take greater precautions.

These riots remind me of my childhood in Detroit;
Civil Rights, Vietnam protest...
Abortion advocates...
Some things never change!
"Want to be heard?"
Write a Book

Don't burn down your own town or city!

Just finished watching the series Jericho;
Makes you think!
God Bless America

Humidity is brewing early this early summer;
So hot its hard to sleep at night!
We are talking about getting central air in our home.
Besides, when you have COPD, it's hard to breathe in humidity!
At least if you are at home, you get a break!

Our greenhouse is doing amazing!
A garden is a wise way to work and see a bountiful harvest!
All hard work has profit!!

Well. I have taken a little break from blogging to just enjoy
My Home, My Life, My Family

Just had my entire Blog put into a book,
Can't wait to receive it in the mail!
I will share it with you!

So get on with your life;
Live today and enjoy it all!
Whatever you set your hands to may it do well!
