Being A Woman Of Leisure And They Called Her Lazy, Because She Did Not Work (Outside The Home)...

Do Not Be Lazy, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Being a woman of leisure...

I really do just sit around and eat Bon Bon's all day!
My days are filled with nothing important...

I do not leave the house by 7:00 am
I usually awake when I open my eyes
(But it use to be when the baby cries)

I make myself a cup of tea!
Many mornings start out reading and studying that OLD BOOK!
No Wall Street Journal here to enlighten my old ways of thinking.

Boring and no GOOD MORNING AMERICA!

While still in my robe I find myself putting a load of
dirty clothes that were worn doing nothing.

I cleaned off the old boring round table
(The same style of King Arthurs Court Room)
Changed out the tablecloth that had splatters of bits and pieces and crumbs.
(From meals that have been the same ones I have used to feed my brood)

Yup, so far, been up for 1 hour and twenty minutes;
Only took off all the stuff from my 10 foot counter top
Washed and rearranged everything on it!
Writing this post so I could get it done before I need to go do
my weeks shopping for fresh veggies and fruits!
Because My Old Man will want a lunch to take to work with him
And Then there is DINNER
Gosh, all he does is work and sleep and eat!

I bet he wished he had my job!!

Washing and cooking and cleaning!!

Wait, what a shame while I was running around doing all these boring chores and my
Bon Bon's melted into a pool of icky gooey yuck!

Really do housewives really eat Bon Bon's?

Well, maybe some housewives might be lazy...

Vacationing With Friends...

Our Lovely Vacation...

All I can say is vacationing with friends is the way to go!

We went out to the coast and spent a week with our dear friends.
And let me tell you we all had a ball!

We found our accommodations in their lovely home to be quite cozy!
But the laughs and fellowship were the best!
Lydias home is shabby chic in decor and design.
It really is very nice and filled of course in her dining area
of cups and tea pots galore!
And she and I enjoyed using some of her very favorites to sip tea and chat!
She did serve a proper tea!
We drank a tea that was called "Yorkshire Gold"
It was one of the smoothest teas with no bitterness.

We had tea and scones every morning;
And this Lady can make the best scones I have ever had!
Lydia is a great cook!
But we did eat in some very fine restaurants while out and about!

Here she is the Pacific Ocean in all her glory...

The Pacific Ocean is very enchanting and demands respect!

There was a sign that stated this;
"Do not go past this point as even on a calm day a wave could
wash over you and could be swept into the sea"

I believed it and I find these signs disturbing yet helpful!
Someone asked me do you want another picture of you here;
"No, I am good thanks anyways!"

The busy hub on the wharf was so alive with gulls squawking,
And boats in the Harbour as far as the eye could see!

Lydia and I walked and just took in the lovely fresh air and the smells!
Our husbands walked and chatted about everything that they were seeing!

We found a restaurant right on the port side of the sea;
It was really one of the best meals we had and we had many!!

Fresh Oysters, Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

Our husbands ordered a plate of fresh Oysters;
They thoroughly enjoyed them;
I did have one myself, but I am pretty sure Lydia declined.
(Quite gracefully, may I add)

Oh, we also shared a cobbler of I think blackberries and Marian Berrys,
Topped with homemade ice cream, it was so good!
We ate it too quick to get a picture--- HA-HA

Simply Tea, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Here was a lovely tea that I had ordered at this very nice Tea Room
This lovely large shop was filled with antiques and teapots!
I will mention this tea was called White Tea,
It was delicious, but it was filled with caffeine.
(Not sure I slept a wink that night)

Lydia and I truly enjoyed this experience;
We talked and sipped our tea and talked about how tea shops
were a delight to our senses!
We were served the best tasting sandwiches I have ever eaten!
She and I ate every last bite (smiles)

While we were out shopping and having lunch our husbands drove
 Around the area seeing some historical sites in the area.

This very cute bag here was a bag made by one of Lydias friends!
It is made from an empty feed bag;
She makes them from every kind of feed bag she has cows and puppies;
Even lambs and they are lined with a pretty fabric to match!
Really a strong and useful thing to have!
She is really quite talented!

I must say that vacationing with friends is the way to go!!
We loved all being together and we had such sweet fellowship;
I do not think we even were bored for one minute on this trip!

Thanks dear friends for your lovely and sweet hospitality!
Love and appreciate you both...

Lydias Blog is  called  "Home Living"

What is new around here?

I just got back again from our archery hunting trip!
It was cold and a bit rainy
Our son saw a mountain Lion!

Hubby and I almost went off a cliff with our camper and truck!
(Thank You God for protecting us with putting a tree right where we
would of gone off!
Our new camper is now in need of some repairs!
But we did not go off, it was a bit scary!
The road was slippery and we lost traction and we were going to fast!

Hank is getting big and he needs work on his dog behavior!

Waiting for our 9th grandchild to be born soon!
Then off again...
Then home again, jiggity jig!

How Can We Have A Strong Emotional Constitution...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

You All Should Be Busy Enjoying The Days We Are In...

May I take this moment and enjoy the lovely green fields and all the warmth upon my head.

We have been given the chance to be outdoors and enjoy God's creation.

I have had the thoughts of how fleeting our days truly are!
So in that mode it is so very important to take each day and enjoy it!

Many of us could all say life has not gone according to our plan,
But God is sovereign and He alone knows what is best for us!

I remembered years ago watching a movie about this woman
 that was about to give birth
And mind you this was a very difficult situation, and she said these words;
I am but surely a woman of a strong constitution!

I found that one line very comforting...

Look, we ladies have endured childbirth and times of difficulty;
It may have been hardships of health or of our finances!

But we must not allow ourselves a continual pity part of crying over our struggles.

Life carries on...

I for one refuse to be the dud, I will be like that woman that said she was of a strong
~CONSTITUTION~

There really is no silver bullet, but there is a silver lining!

I will look to the hills which my help comes from!

I do not want to be like those women who would swoon over a bit of distressing news,
Or a bit of trouble that comes in a difficult season!

Ask the Lord for courage!
Learn to be an overcomer!

Take time to enjoy the simple pleasures!

Do something today to bring you joy and strength!

 Refuse to be a victim of circumstance!

Being emotionally strong means refusing to make excuses.
 Leave the past behind you and focus on getting a little better every day.

Happiness is a choice...

We must make choices that include simplicity, productivity, and passion.

These are not always easy, but we are called to gird up our minds!

Having yourself a good cry can be good for us, but we must not get stuck there!

Get Back On Your Horse And Ride...

Ride Like The Wind

Sometimes we just need to face our fears!

Riding into them at times can push back the doubt and the unknown!

When my son was a young man he use to go camping,
Sometimes by himself or at times with a friend.
I will always remember what he told me one time that his best friend said
on a very dark evening when it was time to go to sleep.
My son told him not to be afraid of the dark!
His friend shouted back,
I am not afraid of the dark!!
"But rather what's in the dark"

We either have the choice to ride into our dark spots,
We all can attest to the fact that many times the dark clouds will
Just dissipate and up ahead, is the clear blue sky and a smooth plain.

The thing I feared the most came upon me...

As I have read that before I had a resolve to not fear the unknown!

But we all know fear is just that fear.

But there are going to be times that sensing fear will be your friend!

Being aware and not being naive is a powerful tool to use!

I have a voice and so do you,
We must speak the truth in love and work on our own hearts!

I do not want to allow the enemy of my soul to be allowed to silence me;
Or to stop me from enjoying my life, one day at a time!

Get back on your horse dear one and ride...

What is your gift?
Are you using it?
It is time to get back to the real life
And live it...

Perseverance is the only way we can have the strength to ride again!

Remember to not just tell the people what they want to hear;
Or to write what is popular, do what matters to you!

A Stay At Home Grandmother ...

Grandchild Holding A Flower, Living From Glory To Glory Blog

What Are You Holding In Your Hand

Sometimes it is just the simple things in life that really give us a pop!
I find the everyday rituals and comforts give me a sense of peace.

Washing dishes or folding laundry does that for me now days.
It wasn't always like that;
I thought these things were mundane tasks till one day;
I realized that if I gave thanks while doing these same tasks,
I was transformed as so were the tasks.

I have also learned to do something for myself every day!
I may read or sew a little bit, I do a Bible study.
Make a special dessert, take a walk!
Call a friend!
Take some photos of something I think is lovely!

Just a special thing that is not on a To Do List...

I wanted to share this photo I took a while back and it was used for a magazine!
You can see it if you want if you click the link right under the picture.
That sweet little hand belongs to one of my grandsons.

Even as a Grandmother, I have had great rewards of being able to be
A Stay At Home Grand Mother...

What Does A Stay At Home Grandmother Get To Do?

We are available to be a big part of our grandchildren's life!

We can interact with them with more frequency.
We can tell them stories of our own childhood.
We can impart wisdom in small tidbits that can have a big impact!
We can help with things that they might need, if no one else is available.

Just being able to spend time with them!
So many Mothers are working now days, but if a Grandmother or Grandfather,
Can help and be there and engage in all different parts of their lives.

Helping them with school work
Teaching them how to do things (bake and cook and sew)
For the guys, (fishing, working on a car or truck,or sports)

Being and active and engaging Grand parent is a powerful gift!
For us and for the children...

See in every season we can be bearing fruit for our families!

What is one of your special things you get to do with your children
Or grandchildren?

Be The Best Grandparent You Can Be!!

Sing As Onto The Lord...

Living From Glory to Glory Blog

A New Song

God loves to hear his people sing.
He created us to sing;
Children so easily sing and hum, it is very precious!
Women who have trained themselves to have a song in their hearts!
Will have a resource that will bring peace and calming in many storms.

After all, we are called to bring a joyful noise unto the Lord!
I  feel bad that I do not have any natural or trained musical ability;
But, it has not stopped me from singing and giving praise!

A heart that is filled with a hymn or a song of praise;
Will always have a chance to turn complaining around;
A song that is in your heart is like a bird that cannot contain its song!

When you are alone, it is so sweet to sing a song to the Lord!
Sing while you're doing your dishes.
Sing as onto the Lord!

I always remember the scripture where He is singing over us!
God serenades us everyday...
Hear the birds singing
Hear the wind blowing
Hear and feel your own heartbeat!

God is the great conductor!
May your life have harmony as a symphony that moves us!

We all have heard the statement;
~She moves to the beat of her own drum~
As it should be when we are in rhythm of the Lords timing...

May a New Song of gratitude spring up and be sung...

Nothing on earth is so well suited to make the sad merry,
The merry, sad, to give courage to the despairing,
to make the proud humble, to lessen envy and hate,
as music.

What Else Can I Possible, Say...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog
Play It Again Sam...

Have you ever just felt like what else can I possibly say?

Well, I can assure you of this, my Hubby would say
You my dear have many more words left to say...

So I guess I will just say what comes to mind!

I love and hate winter
I love it because it is the time of year you can sit by the fire,
And no one thinks you're lazy. And I can put my PJ's on earlier
and no one thinks anything about it.
I hate it because;
1. It is cold
2 It gets dark so early
3 It's cold, oh wait I said that already!

I have been painting my nails some very bright colors,
Many lovely shades of reds!
It looks so bright and cheery, so now I have gone back to wearing
My rubber gloves while doing dishes! It really does save my hands
from becoming chapped and the nails drying out.

I have walked so far every day this year!!
(2 whole days)

I now have to take my blood pressure twice a day;
Just thinking about doing it makes my blood pressure go up!
Geesh
( Well, that is just makes no sense to me)

I also had to stop drinking coffee because it made my blood pressure
Go much higher, so I now am a decaf drinker...
So now life has taken a whole new turn...

I know you all have so many great ideas about lower blood pressure;
But mine is caused from genetics...

I seem to be praying for so many people who have had some very
difficult times, right now in their lives.

Have you ever had nights you just can't fall asleep?
Well the sure cure is to get out the phone book---
And start praying for everyone in alphabetical order!
(Really, I tried that once)

Remember that commercial with the little old lady eating a hamburger?
She opens it up and says;
"Where's the BEEF"

So you all get my point!
Sometimes it is better to not say anything!

Oh wait !!
"Laughter is good medicine"

Christmas Spirit Of A Child...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Christmas Spirit Of A Child...

The wonder and excitement and glee!

Simple is always the better choice!

We do not have to spend a ton of money!

We do not need a ton of Christmas decorations!

Just watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate,
Can bring comfort and warmth...

Exchanging Christmas ornaments is easy and affordable!

You can always give gift cards!
(coffee or burgers)

I am looking for fa la la la la...

I want to awake to the joy and excitement of what
Christmas is really about.

I heard that Christmas is about kindness;
And I thought, wait a minute, I think something has gone astray!
Christmas is about the birth of Jesus our Lord and Saviour...

So my JOY comes from this;
I will still hang a red bulb on the tree
I will still bake cookies for those I love
I will sing
JOY to the world the Lord has come...

Merry Christmas

Little Women And The Comforts Of Home...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

Little Women...

Years ago when someone would come to your door looking to sell the
Lady of the home their wares;
 They might say, is the little women home?

Well of course she was as that is where women were most the time!
But after the late fifties, A thing called divorce reared its ugly head.
Then many women had to go to work,
 To help keep the children fed and a roof over their heads.

But it is no surprise anymore to see the women working!
Many choose to stay working even if they could come home.

Today is different...

So this post may bore you to tears, but I love good books;
A have read Little Women many times;
And I have watched every version of the movie also!

Women, Wives and Mothers,
But a sister can be so special and important in our lives!
Growing up, you may have had your spats, but the memories and laughter!

And I think this book covers the deep things and how the heart
Shows the deep fondness they had for each other!

I love reading books and stories that make one's heart feel strong!
We must keep the sweet thoughts flowing and not become cynical.

If you find yourself becoming tired or weepy in the evenings.
Try taking a warm shower and make yourself a cup of decaffeinated tea
 And start reading something that will nurture your imagination
 and may you be reminded of good things that feed the soul.

A Good Book Is A Treasure...

Sharing A Memory That Was Just Good Old Fashion Fun...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog

CLEAR SHALLOW WATER AND PURE WHITE SANDY BEACHES

Okay, I realize that we are now in November...

But I just had to share with you a wonderful experience I had this past summer!

I would not say that I have the need or desire to live on the edge.
I am more of the slow and lazy moving kind of gal.

But I guess I do have what I would call a very small list of things,
I have always wanted to do!
(I don't really care for the term called a Bucket List)

But this was something I really wanted to do!

So, My wonderful grown children made it happen;

We took a trip down a river on only inner tubes;
We did not use the canoe approach as this picture shows!
The water was very shallow as long as you stayed in the middle of the river.
And you moved at a steady clip as long as you stayed in the flow.
The water was super warm.

The name of the river had the name that just seemed a bit
un-lovely
The Black River

Wait, this is in the middle of a state known for its alligators...

What was I thinking?

This trip only takes 5 hours!

What!

I did pray that I would not hear any commotion along the river banks;
Such as a very hungry creature looking for a quick snack.

I did happen upon two old boys in a small boat;
And I asked them...
Hey, have you guys seen any alligators??
They merely shook their heads,
And one of them spoke up and said not a one today!
Gulp...
Pray harder

We had a ball and not even one little gator crashed our party!

I have always had this idea that;
I would like to try something new every year!

And this was something I will always remember!

We were a group of nine of us,
And I kid you not I was wearing a sun visor that said
LIFEGUARD

So every time our daughter and her sweet little one got stuck in
The Bayou, I had to swim in way over my head and pull her out and
Back into the middle of the flow,
 But she just would not stay with the pack!

I had to rescue her too many times to count...

I only capsized twice and I laughed till I cried!

I will not be wearing the LIFEGUARD visor again if you know what I mean!

What have you done that will be a wonderful memory to last your lifetime?

My Sister And Dear Friend...

Do you ever just want to go back to just being a kid again...

I thought I hated it when my sister would tell me what to do,
But after many years of having to do everything myself,
I kind of miss having someone telling how to do something,
And when to do it   LOL

Are you the big sister or the little sister?
Or in my case I am the middle sister...

I have this sister that is the most positive person I know;
She is also very funny and always makes me laugh...

She also can be a bit bossy in the best way;
But deep down inside I always love her ideas and perceptions,
About life and family and matters of the heart...

I have enjoyed reading so many blogs that are about;
Finding joy
Baking lemon cakes and cookies
Being Content in your life
Organizing our Homes
Enjoying Summer
Even Book Reviews

Once again, I can see we all are wanting to find JOY
In the days we are living in...
They are all treasures!

Please take the time to tell those you love;
How much you appreciate them!!

My son has a little saying when things get tough;
"Can't we all just get along"

~Well, now that depends on do you want to be right or keep the peace~

I am laughing at the fact, after years of blogging, I still have not
Reached 200 followers...
Maybe that gadget just might need to disappear LOL
I really do not care about the number that are following;
It is just a sign of how we just feel stuck at times.

But we are learning to endure when even simple things seem tough!
I think I will sit and read this afternoon...
Read and maybe crochet a granny square.

The Word tells us not to be conformed to this world;
But rather to be transformed by the renewing of our minds!

Enjoy and take pleasure!
Everyday is a gift!
Dwell in the Possibilities!

Why We Need To Love...

For The Love...

Why we need to love...
My life can be poured out as an offering,
Or I can save it and keep it and stuff it in a box

Like a piece of chocolate placed within the confines of a little paper cup;
The box is lined with a gold foil,
There is also a white frosted paper neatly folded over the top.
There is a bow attached to the outside of the box.

This box is safe and very orderly;
Every piece of chocolate has its own little space!
Each one is different in its taste and texture!

We all remember the silly saying
(Life is like a box of chocolates as you never know what you are going to get)

Love has a way of being a bit like the word;
Bittersweet...

Love can fill us with rapturous feelings
Love can make us cry our eyes out at the loss of it
Love can stretch your heart till it feels like it might explode
Love can make your heart ache
Love can come in many forms;

But true love never fails
True love really works patience in us
True love never keeps the list of the wrongs done to us
True love just plain hurts at times
True love doesn't quit when things get tough
True love is not easy

Take a risk and love like there is no tomorrow;
Take a risk and say what is in your heart
~Better to love and feel loss, then to never love at all~

Why do we need to Love?
Because it is the only thing that makes the world a better place...

Marriages
Parents and Children
Siblings
Friends

Make these relationships a priority!

God created us to love...

Everything Is Just Peachy...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog
Artist: Carolina Elisabeth

Everything is just peachy...

I love life!
I heard that a lady had said I don't think I can make it for even another day.

I was thinking about that a lot today;

I am learning not to dwell on things that cause upset!
We are to think about things that will give us peace and hope.

I understand that this is not always easy!
But it is not impossible...
With God "All things are possible"

Training and disciplining our thoughts are huge!

Many women can talk themselves into a poor me attitude;
without much cause some days.
And I realize some days for women can be really overwhelming.
I don't make light of the stress of women;
I just offer a small bit of advice;
 if practiced often, It will help you manage your stress.
Stress does not magically go away;
"But rather it must not be able to control you!"

But I have learned a fine art many years ago;
And I still practice it often, almost daily.

It is this one thing;
   Stop and realize that I need to take a break and
Prepare a special cup of tea or coffee for myself.
And sit in a comfy chair and look at a magazine that inspires me.
Maybe read another chapter in a book that I am enjoying!
Skim through a recipe book for inspiration!
Write a note to a friend!

Taking a bit of time to get refreshed before I start my evening chores.
We all know how many hours we spend making meals and cleaning up!
So I try to have a little time to reflect.

So then I can enjoy the evening meal and the fellowship!

Enjoy these long winter nights!
Stay warm and get ready for some holiday company!
Enjoy this season!

May you never feel that you can not make it through another day!

Remember, even David had to encourage himself in the Lord...

Shifting Gears...

Glory to Glory Blog

Why?
Or shall we ask, Why not?

Can you drive a stick shift?
How many gears?

We are on the race track and we are very close to the finishing line.
Everyday is another chance to shift gears quickly and smoothly!
Stalling out or missing a gear can be very harmful!
It really is all about timing!

A tank filled with gas!
Tune- up, with good spark plugs;
Use the proper weight of oil!
Check your mirrors
Fasten your seat belt!

We're rolling now sister...

Step on the gas, and enjoy a day of peace and adventure!
But we whine, I just want to stay home;
Well, sorry in order to get some things done, we need to go!

We are ALL called to GO!

Okay, just give me a list and a good GPS and I am gone.
No turning back!

Wait, stop this crazy fast car, I wanted to go for a slow leisurely
Sunday drive!!

Sorry, but we are on a goal setters track here!
(Goals, What in the heck tarnashin is a goal?)
Well, it is something that you drive towards,
Like in one direction so you don't get off course.

Rules:
Stay in your lane!
Keep things cool and keep a level head!
Obey the speed limit!
Remember others are on the same track!
(It's not all about You)

Just for the your information, I am not driven by goals!!
I am more like get in and see where I end up kinda girl!
Does this shock any of you?

I love having the freedom to go and explore!
I have many that love set goals and achieve them.
But I am not sure why I never do make goals,
Maybe it is not for everyone!

Besides, I drive an automatic now a days!
Grew up visiting the race tracks with my Daddy!
Fast and Furious
But, I am more slow and steady this old girl!

Do you enjoy these days?
Well, may I ask you Why or Why Not?

Love Letters...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Seasons will come and go as we are all very aware of this!
But sometimes we just need to hang on to those words or memories.

Can you just close your eyes and see those sweet faces or places;
Of the past of days or years.

People and places and even a song;
can trigger a memory that can still captivate your heart!

We need new eyes each day to explore the gifts just waiting for us!
Yet having a treasure kept in the back of a drawer;
Or a pressed leaf or flower in the pages of your Bible!

May we not become blind and deaf in those sights and sounds,
Of our children giggling and playing.
Or your Husband sitting in his chair saying the evening grace.
These are powerful gifts God has given us!

These glimpses of the days that have come and gone;
They are treasures for us to pull out and to ponder.
As Mary did with Jesus.

But, I feel an excitement to hear and see with a new enthusiasm!
Do not become bored with your life and those in your family!
Live like today is the most precious day of them all!

Wake up!
Can you just hear with ears attuned to the song that God is
Singing over you...
Why does God say so many times a warning of these words?
"Those that have ears to hear"

I will not be one of those who will not hear the whole council,
Of God's Word of truth!

Stop cheating yourself and see that we are all being lulled to sleep!

Stop taking scripture out of context!
 Yes, God can give you a special promise for a crisis!
(Believe me He is God)
But let's not make a new doctrine from one scripture...

God is a God of providence;
Not chance...

When I look back and see the hand of God in my life;
And how He is orchestrating things!

This is why God always reminded us on how He did what he did for Israel!
Our Hope is in His return.
Find the promises that are for the believers today!
He gave us such an amazing truth!
They are His love letters to us!
Stop reading between the lines;

(That is where the church gets itself in trouble)

Clayton's Reunion And The News Clip...

Colorado Greenhorn Rescue, Survival in the wilderness,

Family Bond

We have many bonds in our lives with many people.
The strongest bond is one of a parent and a child;
And a child with a grandparent.
This is family!

But let us take notice of another family bond;
The Body of Christ;
Where your children, become important to us all!

Children and the Body of Christ is the realization that we
All have a heavenly Father who cares and has a plan for each of us!

God asks us this very question;
Are you not you're brother's keeper?

Our entire family wants to Thank each and every person that lifted up a prayer
That
Was given in our grandsons behalf.

No one found our grandson;
It was only God who led him from the forest.
We were told that this part of the forest is referred to as hell,
Because of its dark and dense conditions.
(REALLY)

The search party was not even looking in the right place on this mountain.
Only God knew where he truly was at every moment of every hour;
Of a 27 hour ordeal!

May we all stop nit picking on those we love; and realize that
most irritations are very small in the grand scheme of things!

Wisdom is not usually lofty and high.
But rather God's command to love one another;
As you love yourself!

Only a few brave ones will lay down their lives for others.
We do this in prayer for others!
We do this with actions by helping others!
Just giving a cup of cold water in His name will bring Him Glory!

Here is the TV news clip of his story!

Barns And Their Beauty...

Barn, Country, Rustic, Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Barns and their haunting beauty...

They stand in majestic stature.

No matter their age or how they have withstood the years.
They are beautiful...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Some barns stand in solitude in a field all alone...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

They have stood so long, that their last coat of red paint
has faded to a rustic color...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

Some have windows, with the glass panes long ago broken out and missing...

Tin Roof, Living from Glory to Glory Blog

The rust has set in on the tin roofs...

Living from Glory to Glory Blog

A gray barn seems to say "I am different and I am Okay"

This barn has been kept in prime condition,
It has had many face lifts in its many years!

Lonely and unattended...

Proud and tall and on its original rock foundation.
"A firm foundation"

Even to the setting sun
You are beautiful...

Barns are as American as apple pie and freedom...

A green barn seems out of place, but it was quaint!
Country and stylish...

"A working barn"

Large and lovely she was a grand barn in her day...

Barns were part of the livelihood for the American frontier and families...

A barn is a home to these little ones...

This barn is on a big incline;
It was probably hard in the winter snows and ice...

A side of a barn...

This barn was over 100 years old!
Just better with age...

Which way is the wind blowing?

How many hands have touched this barn door handle?

Good fences and boundaries keep us safe...

"Fields of gold and amber waves"
The breadbasket...

The harvest is gathered and placed in the waiting barns...

May this be a blessing to all who get to see the amazing
 Heritage we have in this country
"May God bless America"
From sea to shining sea...
