Giving Thanks Before Eating Our Meals...
God's Provisions...
Jesus took the Loaves and gave thanks for them.
One memory that I remember growing up was saying Grace.
We must not ever waste his bounties.
I have read this saying;
"Loaves unblessed are loaves unmultiplied."
If Jesus did this before partaking of food
or serving it to others. I do think with all my heart
this is a wonderful to thank God for his provisions.
So, we should make a habit and pause and thank God.
Before eating our meals. Even if it's just yourself sitting
down for a quick lunch or a feast with friends.
Many times if we are with unbelievers we have to do this
Quietly and yet unapologetically!
If we will give thanks and eat in faith, we will
Always enjoy what we have been given to sustain our bodies.
~Make some fresh bread and break it and give thanks~
Oh, but don't forget the butter!!
Saying Grace is a bit like this;
We are saved by GRACE...
Do You Say Grace?
We bless God when we do!

Kaleidoscope Vision...
~Seeing Life Through a Kaleidoscope~
Our daily lives are a bit like a Kaleidoscope.
It may seem like each day is much the same,
But actually it will be arranged differently,
From the variations of color and proportion!
The same but different...
Maybe we need to pull out our own Kaleidoscope
And get a different perspective!
We need to find the wonder and beauty in the ordinary!
Each day something is different,
So we get to look at the same thing,
But with a new pair of eyes...
Those that have eyes to see!
Things in this word can seem overwhelming;
But if we will just remember everyone will see things
Differently, and respond not as we would.
The world will use smoke and mirrors to try to hide
What is really going on!
But God will use His Eye
(Or Kaleidoscope)
And He Will Use the Light of His word
Creating and Producing Patterns.
He wants to change our perspective!
Using the mirror of our eyes
~The eye is the lamp to the body. You draw light into
your body through your eyes, and light shines
out to the world through your eyes~
Matthew 6:22
The Kaleidoscope was invented by
Sir David Brewster in about 1816
Optical beauty using mirrors and light!
May we see Gods Glory
In His creation and in our ordinary days!

Looking For The Beauty In Life...
Looking For The Beauty In Life
We are all living in days of trials or untraveled territory.
It may be a personal trial or it may be sickness.
But the truth is everyone is being tested!
Trials and pain are just apart of being alive.
But there is just something about those special ones that just stick out!
They just seem to handle difficulties better and keep a sense of composer.
When I was a young woman I would pray this prayer;
Lord as I grow old help me to not be old and cranky.
I want people to say that old lady is so sweet!
So how do we become sweet little old people?
We have trials and pain and disappointment,
So we can learn to rely on Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We become less self-centered and more Christ centered.
Our face will relax and our smile lines will increase.
Why because we are being pruned to look at the beauty in life!
And this something you have to earnestly look for in your days.
This just means that storms will come,
But after the dark clouds recede we will see the beauty in the
stark brilliance of His provision and the testing.
Remember this is not the New Heaven Or Earth!
Joy comes in those little simple things...
Seeing a beautiful bird in a leave less tree.
Seeing a smile returned even with a mask on your face.
Seeing the provisions of Gods hand.
Seeing a sunrise or a sunset
Seeing an elderly couple who has been married for years,
Still holding hands...
~Open your heart and your eyes and you will see beauty~
