~Young At Heart~
One thing I have been thinking a lot about is this,
Being Young At Heart...
I want to be a woman that keeps her heart and mind young,
In a way that keeps you kinder and teachable and filled with joy!
As we age and become older, it can be very easy to stop enjoying life!
But thankfully I determined many years ago to age gracefully.
And to keep my heart young!
I don't want to be old and gray and grouchy!
And to stop being filled with hope and joy
And instead to just be glad to be alive!
To be young at heart we must keep our heart alive,
And flexible and moving in the way of hope.
We must behold the beauty and brightness.
Pray for our hearts to see Gods goodness!
Don't allow sadness or unhappiness to take hold!
If I wake up heavy burdened or weary;
I start praising the Lord and remind myself,
That everything that has breath to praise the Lord.
I don't look like the little girl that had this beautiful
Picture on her wall, but I do remember that I was young once.
~They say a picture is worth a thousand words~
My heart still holds so may memories!
May I fill my heart today with sweet thoughts and actions,
That will ensure that my heart stays young.
We can grow old outwardly with much grace.
But our hearts can be forever young...
Yet, acting my age appropriately without losing my joy!
I don't want to be an old fuddy-duddy.
But a woman that will still enjoy the little things.
To laugh and smile kindly
Staying young at heart is an art of living well!
Stay interested in keeping strong and wise.
Do what keeps you motivated and productive.
Don't gossip
Speak good things
Be aware of your posture
Eat well
Smile
"Remember Jesus loves you"
And you are His Child...
