The Narrow Way

And The Road That leads To Destruction

Have you ever had this feeling;

 You were headed down the wrong path?

Or you found yourself in the wrong place;

In a very wrong timing?

Every single day we are up against the responsibility

To be accountable of where and when we are in any

Given situation...

It's not like I'm real big on intuition,

But, if you have even just once known that you knew,

You were not in a good place or situation!

We hopefully have all heard the phrase in these last

Few years is this one...

"Have your head on a swivel"

Look around people

There are a few bad apples out there

They are just lurking around looking for maybe

Who or What they can steal, kill or defile?

Hey, remember I'm the positive and encourage other Blogger,

Kinda gal!!

But, I would not be a good friend if I did not tell you

Or warn you of this undercurrent that is spilling over!

It's like a floodgate has opened and lawlessness as was

Given the okay to just flood every city and town.

Look around, they are watching you out of the corner of their eye.

I use to feel safe and go anywhere by myself,

Well, NO MORE

My Grandma back in the day would say,

Those Hoolagins are up to No GOOD!

I know with all my heart that we must make good choices!

What and Where we go and the things we do;

If you make yourself vulnerable, remember this;

All have a consequence!

For yourself and others!

So what this post is trying to convey to you all is this!

Be aware of your surroundings;

Be loving and kind, But not stupid...

These Hooligans usually work in a pack.

One is watching, one is scoping, one is trying to 

Get your attention!

Never park next to a Van!!!!!!

If there is a flyer on your windshield on your window

Do Not Touch It

If there is writing on your car, Beware they have targeted you!

If there are two people in a car parked by yours, Beware,

They may be trying to grab your purse or steal your car!

If they have a gas can and ask for help, Beware!

Just saying: Because I've had all these happen.

Then when something happens, we hear I never saw this coming!

Well, I have had the unfortunate experience 

In the Past of being a target...

So at the Present time in my life, I will be wise!

"Be mindful of who is around you!"

So in the Future, You can protect yourself and

Your loved ones by having the inner alarm fined tuned!

Behold, I send you out as sheep

In the midst of wolves.

Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

But beware of men.

Matthew 10:16

The whole world is a mission field.

Share when you can

Use wisdom

So stay on the right track

Going in the right direction

And in the right timing...

Run, turn around, never put yourself in a position

Of being harmed in any way!!

To the very thing another person is to be doing."

Helping one another in this journey.

To leave a friend or a stranger with an inspired idea,

Is a bit like a heavenly dew.

Refreshed and full of life once again.

Remember there is nothing new under the sun 

Scripture tells us, so we are all in this together.

So many have lost so much and when the spark becomes

But a cold dark ember, we must add some kindling,

Help fan the flame of someone's dream.

Some of these ideas were never meant for you;

But to share with another to help them do

The very thing you may see in your mind's eye.

Some ideas are for you alone, but mostly

These plans our placed within us before we are even born!

But yes we are our brother's keeper!

Help them to plod on

Share your light and see another prosper,

To finally be able to write that story, paint that picture.

To make a part of this world to be more beautiful.

Sometimes We Just Need to Be Shielded

From the Onslaught of Busy...

Be Still And Know That I Am God

~ Enjoy the little things in life.

But one day you'll look back and realize

They were the Big Things~

I absolutely love this quiet season!

Some seasons are so busy you can't hear yourself think!

It's not that I want to hear myself think;

But rather hear the Lord directing my thoughts.

When you are not able to focus and you sense

a fever of the dreaded squirrel disorder!

It is time to pull back and re-adjust.

When the voices become a blur and you can't distinguish,

What is truly being said, you must slow down and be

Quick to listen...

I remember as a young girl being able to run everywhere!

After all, I had a pair of those PF Flyer Tennis Shoes.

But, I mostly just go at a steady pace.

Not quick or too slow

But moving in the right direction.

My calender is not so full of having to be here or there!

If I have the strength to do more on any given day;

I will just fly by the seat of my pants;

(Or Jumper)

God is always doing something new in our hearts

~If we will let Him~

When, I make a mistake when I am writing in my journal,

I will just pick out a pretty sticker and cover it up!

Don't make the mistake of not taking the time

To notice the little things in your day.

And if you do make a mistake ask God to forgive you!

And put a pretty sticker over the blunder!

The Word Says Love Covers a multitude of sins...

Being Self-Taught Can Be A Hard Thing, But A Good Thing...

Self- Taught in just about everything!

I am going to make this pattern in a mock first using

A nice cotton muslin fabric first!

Before I start cutting out the pattern on the pretty

fabric I purchased for this Laura Ashley pattern!

I've had this sewing machine forever,

Nothing fancy but it's strong and reliable!

Being self-taught is a bit of a challenge!

I think we have stopped handing down many things

To the next generation!

Over the years I have told myself, you can do this!

Now, grant you I may be in the category 

"Jack of all trades and master of none"

But it has not stopped me from trying and learning!

I bought a beautiful piano and I'm still trying to teach myself.

I have had two different teachers that both lasted maybe a month.

I've taken watercolor painting classes in person and online.

I have been doing some sewing again after 30 years;

Sewing up some cotton jumpers!

The patterns might as well be written in Japanese!

Even the pictures are confusing?!#

But, the point I am trying to make is this;

We can learn new things without an instructor or teacher!

Mind you it would be nice to have some help.

But, in reality no one has time anymore.

One thing we have are helpful videos on the internet!

We can order books to teach ourselves!

Never stop short of learning a new skill;

Or advancing to a new level!

And remember it is so good for our brains too

Learn new skills and to follow directions.

I was not born with natural abilities in sewing or painting

But I didn't let it stop me from trying...

And we can help someone else to just try to learn

A new hobby or craft!

Share what you have learned!

I have this memory of my Mother teaching herself;

Of many things knitting, sewing, canning!

But while she was still here, I failed to learn from her

As much as I should have.

May we always be teachable of the things of the Lord.

But yet not afraid to dig deep into His Word all by ourselves.

Never stop creating beauty in your heart and your home!

Oh, I forgot to mention the one crafty thing that I have just

Had a ball doing, and it's called "Junk Journaling"

It's so much fun and relaxing!

I need to do a little post on this craft very soon!
