It Wasn't Me...

Living From Glory To Glory Blog...

It wasn't ME...

Look the evidence is as plain as the nose on your face!

Taking responsibility is a sign of maturity,
We all want to be right in all matters.
I want to enjoy the sweetness of life, but not by denying the truth!
We will be held in contempt of court, by wanting to give my side of the story!
Learning to listen with ears that truly hear...
Is He in the thunder?
He speaks in that still small voice

Being quiet and learning to listen will bring us to a place of great knowledge.

Egypt was a place of great visual sensations.
Babylon was a place of sin and living for oneself...

I like to think of the great story this time of year
New Years Day
As a reminder of crossing of the Jordan River...

We are all called to come over

Red Rover, Red Rover send Johnny on over!

Do you realize we have been given a new opportunity?

A New Thing;
The Lord will never do exactly the same thing a second time around.
He will do something better!
A New Thing
A New Way
This new year is filled with possibilities and the power to create and inspire!

Everything we need to overcome and adapt as we submit to God!

Cross over the Jordan...

Will this year be better or worse?
It will be both as we have seen as things get darker;
We my friends become brighter and showing more of His Glory!

What has been going on in my world;
We had all eight grandchildren here for over a week!
Sledding and wrestling with each other as cousins do!
I have the worst case of laryngitis ever!
(Grandchildren were glad that happened, as I was captive to listening to their stories)
I am thinking and inquiring of the Lord as to growing in His Grace and Image...
One of my dearest and best friends moved to Florida this last December!
I miss her terribly...
My computer during this holiday got a terrible Ad Choice downloaded on it
@#%&*+
It took over my entire Blog-----
I was wondering if I should just DELETE the whole Blog?
My wonderful son-in law was able to get it off for me!
My Hubby and I are barking like dogs with a very nasty cough!
We are so blessed to be given another year of 52 Sundays to worship!
365 Days to grow in Grace...

May I ask you, dear ones;
Does this Blog help you?
Is this something that brings you to a place of wanting to grow?
Is becoming a Woman of God a desire of your heart?

  1. Oh my goodness Roxy, of course it does. Don't let the way you are feeling right now, cause you to make any hasty decisions regarding this wonderfully, uplifting place.... Instead, take a break from it and come back refreshed and ready to share the wisdom that Our Lord imparts to you.

    Feel better dear Lady...and rest!!!

  5. Your blog is a light for young women and a blessing.

    I am closer to 70 than 60 and am a homemaker. I cherished being home with my children as they grew up.

    I hear too many young women today saying they don't feel productive or worthwhile staying home. It's easy for them to be worn down by worldly diatribe when support and encouragement is not prevalent.

    Keep up the good work, Roxy, your voice is much needed in the world.

  6. I'm glad you got the virus off your computer because I would hate for you to shut down your blog! I love my visits here Roxy. You never fail to inspire or lift me up. You are a sweet blessing. Hope you feel better soon. I have had a cough for 3 weeks now and had laryngitis for two weeks. It isn't fun for sure. Sounds like you enjoyed those grands though!

    Blessings, Vicky

  7. Roxy...

    I always find something that gives me pause to think, be inspired and pray when I visit here. You're really an encourager. Keep up the work of the Lord. I hope you feel better soon. Tom has the crud here. I usually don't get sick. I've not even had a cold in over 8 years! PTL! Oh, that adware is nasty. I got it on my blog after visiting someone else's blog. Thank the Lord, I figured out how to get rid of it!

    New year Blessings to you...
    Jan ♥

    ps...please stop by my new blog, the old one is done. Jan's Place

  8. YES!! Roxy (to all three)
    I've been visiting here for a while from Katy's blog (The Country Blossom). The way you write is remarkable and it blesses me richly. Thank you so much!
    Have you always allowed "anonymous" comments? I didn't think you had before, because there have been many times I've considered commenting. I hope what I'm saying encourages you. Your blog is just lovely; coming from such a sweet, feminine, de"light"ful lady. Keep it up Ms. Roxy! (: Thank you again and Happy 2015!

  19. Eight grands in the house and laryngitis? Doesn't seem right, does it?! Praying for you and your husband to be on the mend. This cold and flu season has been rough. When I remember to visit, I often find precious insights, Rory. You have a heart after God and you are an exhorter and an encourager. A blessed 2015 to you and those you love. (I just hate when friends move away. The only good thing is that we can keep in better touch with them than we used to be able to do. Does she blog? FB?)
